What can I expect at my photo session?
Expect to have fun, Because you will. Being a little nervous at first is normal, but you will soon relax when you see how much fun it really can be.
Please plan on arriving 10 - 15 minutes before your scheduled time to freshen up & check your outfits.
We will spend a few minutes with you to find out just what you want to do in your session. We want you to have fun, and being late will only cause us to end up rushing .
If you wish to bring a CD that you would like for background music while we work, feel free do do so.
What should I wear to the session?
That depends on the type of photos we are going to take. If you are not going to be posing nude or semi nude, wear the first outfit that you want to have your pictures taken in.
If we are going to be taking nude or partial nude photos please do the following to help get rid of those pesky strap marks. Wear a loose fitting dress or loose set of sweats. Please leave your bra off and don't wear panties that fit tight enough to leave a mark around your waist if any of your poses will be nude from the waist down. You can put the bra and or panties back on for lead in shots to the nudes when get here. We have a well lighted changing room for you to use for dressing and touching up your hair and makeup.
What clothes should I bring for my session?
Some of your favorites of the following:
Low cut dresses or blouses
Jackets, various styles/colors
Jewelry, Earrings, necklaces, chokers, rings, etc.
Skirts, or dresses that are short, revealing or flattering
Shoes that enhance your legs and compliment your wardrobe, high heals are the best choice
Hats and Scarves
Any clothing that your partner other feels makes you sensual or sexy
A few suggestions of fun things that work well could include:
A vest
Anything that he gave you
His favorite ball team shirt
Western hat and boots if you are into western (a pair of chaps)
Tee shirts with rips or holes
Anything thin or transparent
Sun glasses
A leather jacket
Cutoffs that are too short
Anything fishnet
Your favorite stuffed toy
A fur coat
Something funny
Stockings (various)
Thigh high stockings
A body stocking
Attractive Bras and or lingerie
Colorful panties and bra
(A great place to buy the fancy and colorful underwear sets at a reasonable price is actually Walmart!)
What should I wear as far as makeup and what about my hair?
Just before your session, stand 2 feet in front of the mirror, dab a small amount of cover-up/concealer on any noticeable blemishes & apply some powder to take away any shine on your forehead & nose & chin areas. That's it- if they are gone in the mirror, they won't show in your portraits.
Hair - Try to have your haircut and/or perm at least a week before your session to give it a chance to "fill in".
Don't forget to do your nails and remember to stay with neutral colors so they will match all of your outfits.
What are your rates and when do I pay?
Rates vary with what we do. They will have been discussed with you before you come to the session. Please bring that amount with you.
When will my pictures be ready?
That depends on what you are getting. We shoot all digital so there is no wait on developing or prints. You will have the chance to look at your photos before you leave!! Most of the time we can have the CD with your shots on it in 24 to 48 hours. If you are having a calendar, screen saver or CD photo album done it may take a little longer. We can let you know before you leave when you will be able to pick up your finished CD.
Do I have to sign any kind of release?
Yes. We have different releases that are used for different types of shoots. You will also have to show proof of age if there is any doubt to you being over the age of 18. |
